 PATRICK CONNELL (son of THOMAS) was born Abt. 1871 in Ireland. He married SARAH MCGEE CONNELL September 27, 1894 in St. Agnes Church, Paterson, NJ, daughter of CONDY MCGEE and HANNAH MCGEE. She was born Abt. 1870 in Ireland.

After the death of his wife, Sarah McGee (date unknown), Patrick placed his two daughter in St. Joseph's Orphanage ( an orphanage) in Totowa, NJ
Doris Day Winterberg remember her grandmother, Mary (May) Connell Day, say that she track her father down by finding out his milk rout, and as he was doing he rout she stop and grabbed the horses reins and asked him why he abandoned them. There is no recollection of an answer.

DAY, son of IRA DAY and HELEN Day. Ira M. was born November 9, 1889 in Paterson, NJ, and died May 30, 1955 in 8 Weiss St., Paterson, NJ St. Joseph's Hos.
Notes for IRA M. DAY:
His father Ira Day (Ira, b. August 5, 1854) was about 31when his son, Ira M's was born in 1889) and Helen (or Ellen/Nilly/Nellie) Gorman Day born in Ireland, was 25 yrs.old at son's birth.
Ira M. Day was 65 years old at time of his own death, about May 30, 1955. He was called Dada by his grandchildren.
